1. Agreement
By accessing FileCrater you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
FileCrater provides permanent file hosting: upload a file, receive a share URL, and keep it available subject to these Terms, our acceptable-use rules, and your credit balance.
3. Accounts & credits
You are responsible for your account credentials. Credits are prepaid units used for uploads and related features. Credits do not expire in this demo model, are non-transferable except as we allow, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of files you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display them as needed to operate the service. You must have the rights to upload and share every file.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use FileCrater for illegal content, malware distribution, infringement of others’ rights, spam, abuse of the API, or attempts to bypass security or billing.
6. Permanent links
“Permanent” means we design links not to expire on a fixed timer. We may still remove content for legal, security, abuse, or non-payment reasons. We are not liable for third-party caching or link rot outside our control.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, FileCrater is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
